For the sum of ___________________, Beau Chien agrees to sell and _____________________________

agrees to purchase one Bearded Collie: sex:______, color:_______________, AKC#_________________,

Whelped on ____________________.

Beau Chien and Buyer agree to the following conditions:

1. The buyer is informed that the dog must be registered with the AKC under the name of Beau Chien's____________________________________and will be co-owned by Donna Johnson.

2. Beau Chien guarantees the dog for five (5) days against any irregularities in health or temperament. During this time, the dog may be returned to Beau Chien for any reason for a full refund. The Buyer is encouraged to have the dog examined during this time by a veterinarian at the Buyer’s expense.

3. Beau Chien guarantees that the dog is a purebred Bearded Collie free of disqualifying faults for conformation showing as defined in the AKC Breed Standard in effect at the time of sale. Beau Chien further guarantees that the dog is a purebred Bearded Collie free of hereditary health disorders of the hips and eyes. If the dog is found not to conform to these standards, providing the dog has not already produced a litter, Beau Chien agrees to replace the animal.

4. Except for replacement  Beau Chien will not be liable to Buyer, in contract or in tort, for any direct or consequential damages arising out of the purchase or ownership of the dog.

5. Buyer agrees that every effort will be made to show the dog until the dog receives an AKC Championship title. Buyer understands and agrees that at the time of this sale, Beau Chien, to the best of our ability, judges this dog to be of show quality. However, there are no guarantees, implied or expressed, that the dog will be free of faults (with exception of show disqualifying faults as addressed above) and that he/she will, in fact, be showable. If for any reason this dog is ever to be given up or transferred by the Buyer, Beau Chien will be given the first opportunity to buy back the dog. 

7. Buyer agrees not to breed the dog before he/she is x-rayed and found clear of any hip disorders and has been examined by a certified canine ophthalmologist and certified clear of any eye disorders. If this dog is a bitch, it is agreed that she will not be bred before the age of 24 months.  It is further agreed that this bitch will have no more than five litters in her lifetime.

This agreement is designed to protect Beau Chien and also be fair to our puppy buyers. The guidelines set forth are considered to be in the best interest of our puppies and the breed as a whole. This constitutes the entire agreement between these parties. When signed, these stipulations shall immediately become legal and Buyer understands that deviations shall result in definite legal action.

Beau Chien and Buyer agree to the following terms:

1. Registration papers will be transferred to the new owner. The dog is to be  registered with the AKC under the name Beau Chien’s

2. Beau Chien guarantees the dog for ten (10) days against any irregularities in health or temperament. During this time, the dog may be returned to Beau Chien for any reason for a full refund. The Buyer is encouraged to have the dog examined during this time by a veterinarian at the Buyer’s expense.  The puppy has already had a health check up and first shots done by Best Friends Animal Hospital, Billings, MT.  (406-255-0500)

3. Beau Chien guarantees that the dog is a purebred Bearded Collie and it is understood at the time of the sale, this dog is not considered to be of show or breeding quality.  The dog is representative of the breed and structurally and tempermentally suited as a companion and or obedience dog.  No other guarantee is given except in the case of a hereditary defect, which develops to the extent that it renders the dog unsuitable as a pet within three years of the date of sale.  In this instance, a replacement will be given as soon as one becomes available.

4. The buyer agrees that thi dog will not be bred and neutering will be performed before the dog is one year old.

5.  If for any reason the buyer is unable to keep this dog, he agrees to call Beau Chien and give the seller the first chance to buy the dog.

It is understood that at the time of sale this dog is not considered to of show or breeding quality, but is representative of its breed and structurally and temperamentally suited as a companion and or obedience dog. This dog is guaranteed for ten days hours against any health or temperament irregularities and it is recommended that the buyer have the puppy examined by a veterinarian during this time period. The puppy has already had a health check completed by Best Friends Animal Hospital, Billings, MT. (406-255-0500) A full refund will be given for any pup found unsatisfactory during the first ten days.
No other guarantee is given except in the case of a hereditary defect, which develops to the extent that it renders the dog unsuitable as a pet within three years from the date of sale. In this instance, a replacement will be given as soon as one becomes available.
